Adopted 80,000 volunteers for the Tokyo Olympics 50s is just over 20%, the highest number on September 12 at 23:54

Next year's Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, about 80,000 recruits of tournament volunteers, mainly active at the competition venues, were in their 50s, accounting for the largest number of 20%.

More than 200,000 applicants are submitted to the event volunteers who are active in the competition venues and in the Olympic Village at the Tokyo Games, and the Organizing Committee will hold the event from February to July. We conducted orientations throughout the country to confirm the applicant's wishes and activity conditions.

On the 12th, the Organizing Committee revealed that 80,000 recruits were solidified, and among those from their teens to their 80s, 50s accounted for the largest number at 22%.

On the other hand, in the 20s, which was the highest at 36% at the recruitment stage, there were many people who did not participate even if invited to orientation, and decreased to 16%.

The ratio of males and females was 39% for men and 61% for women. Only 12% of foreign nationals accounted for 36% at the recruitment stage due to their ability to speak Japanese.

The 80,000 people who have been hired will learn the basic knowledge of volunteers and SNS rules during the training that begins next month, and their activities will be officially adopted by the end of March.

On the other hand, for about 120,000 people who were not recruited this time, the Organizing Committee notified the results on the personal page to which each applicant connects on the 12th.
