Sharjah and Al-Ahli have strengthened their ranks by registering nine new players, five for Sharjah and four for Al-Ahli in the current transfer. Most of these players are expected to appear in the Arabian Gulf Super Cup tomorrow.

Sharjah did not find it difficult to compensate for the departure of his Brazilian top scorer, Wilton Suarez, to Al Wasl, where he restricted the player of Cape Verde, Ricardo Gomez, from Partizan Belgrade Serbian, and also supported and his team with distinguished national players, including the trio of Al Wahda Salem Sultan, Mohammed Abdulbaset and Tariq Alkhadim.

The duo Khadim and Abdulbaset are important elements that participated with Annabi last season, where he played the first 18 games and played the second 21 games, while Salem Sultan appeared in seven games.

The fourth national in Sharjah is Mohammed Khalfan, who played 17 times with Fujairah last season. On the other hand, after Al-Ahly's youth dispensed with three of its foreigners: Ecuadorian Ayovi, Argentinian Emiliano and Mauro Diaz, he retained a single foreigner, Louvainor, and hired a local player, former Bani Yas captain, Yousef Jaber.

Despite the delay in announcing the foreigners' deals, Al-Ahly eventually won three outstanding players, the first of whom was David Mariani, 28, from Levski Sofia and Argentine Cartabia, 26, of Deportivo La Coruna. Then, the most important deal was to sign former Al Wahda star and scorer Leonardo de Souza, 27, who has already scored 19 goals in 29 professional games with Al Wahda.
