It was only four months at Peterson's job before he was allowed to leave. The appointment was part of a large rocked among the leaders who did not really go as one had imagined.

- It is sad that it became such a mess, that it has so much trouble. I got a good picture of Jonas, the little I met him. It is sad that he was allowed to leave the post so early, says Calle Halfvarsson.

What is your opinion of why it became as it became?

- I actually have no idea. We skiers focus most on our training during the summer and are fully up to it.

How has it been handled by the union?

- It was not what you wanted from the beginning. The result of this became very messy within the union. It will settle anyway, but it is clear that it became boring what happened.

Last year's season ended in minority for the skier who fell ill during the last races in Canada. The 30-year-old was very disappointed after the World Cup and indicated that he was considering quitting.

- The season was a three or a four on a 10-degree scale. It was too much for the World Cup and I did not get any dream opening. But the thought of not continuing to bet was probably very disappointing after the championship. When you do not get what you have in the track, it is easily happened at my age that you are thinking about whether to continue or not. But that was just right there during the World Cup, then those thoughts have not existed. I'm tagged for a new season now, says Calle Halfvarsson.
