Schumacher turned 50 earlier this year but has not been seen publicly after a serious skiing accident in the French Alps almost six years ago. The German motorsport icon suffered serious head injuries and was in a coma for several months, and his family has been sorry about his condition.
Le Parisien writes that Michael Schumacher was taken to George Pompidou Hospital in southwestern Paris, and that he will undergo stem cell transplant treatment there.
In January, the family sent out a press release that Schumacher "was in the best of hands". He lives in Geneva, Switzerland.
