A conference was held in Tokyo starting on the 10th to report the preparations for the tournament and barrier-free competition to athletes from all over the world who are planning to participate in the Tokyo Paralympic Games, one year later.

The Tokyo Paralympic team leaders' meeting started on the 10th to 3rd of the day, and was attended by 250 people from approximately 100 countries out of the 182 countries and regions scheduled to participate in the tournament.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Secretary General Muto of the tournament organizing committee reported that the development of the stadium and athlete village was progressing smoothly and that the challenges for next year were identified at the test tournament.

On that basis, he stressed that preparations are being made to welcome players in the next summer.

Participants will visit the new national stadium and the athlete village, which will be the main stadium, and check if there are any problems with the movement of wheelchair players and measures against heat.

In addition, the Organizing Committee will hold individual meetings with each country to share information and test whether the reception desk for inquiries and the transportation of athletes work well.

And on the final day, we will give a ceremony to hand over invitations to the Paralympic Committees of each country and call for participation in the Tokyo Paralympic Games.
