John van 't Schip is disappointed by the situation with Greece in the European Championship qualification. The national team coached his team on Sunday by playing 1-1 against small Liechtenstein.
The equalizer of the visitors fell just in time and gave the Greeks a new blow after the 1-0 defeat in and against Finland on Thursday.
"We started the match badly. After the break things went better and we hit the bar twice, but this is very disappointing", Van 't Schip summarized the match against Liechtenstein.
"We had several chances to score and Liechtenstein was only dangerous once. We have now reached the bottom and have to build a new team."
The European Championship is almost a prospect for Greece, which occupies the fifth and second-last place in group J of the European Championship qualification. The gap with number two Finland is seven points.

"We need a restart"
Van 't Schip, who signed a contract up to and including the World Cup of 2022 at the end of July with the Greek League, realizes that he has to change course at the 2004 European champion.
"This is a low point for Greece, we need a restart. That does not mean that I am pulling the broom through the selection, although I want to look at younger players," said the 41-time Orange-international.
"Why we were unable to hold onto the lead? I am not a coach who likes to defend himself. Some players seemed unable to cope with the situation."
Next month, Van 't Schip will visit Greece with Greece, which will lead in group J. Three days later, Bosnia and Herzegovina will be played in their own country.
