The Dutch national team starts Monday night with Joël Veltman, Davy Pröpper and Donyell Malen in the European Championship qualification match against Estonia. The trio is preferred to Denzel Dumfries, Marten de Roon and Quincy Promes.
Veltman takes the place of Dumfries on the right back position, Pröpper replaces De Roon in midfield and Promes must give up his place to Malen in the attack.
Koeman already announced on Sunday at his press conference that he might make several changes in his line-up of the Dutch national team before meeting Estonia.
In the previous European Championship qualifying match with Germany, Dumfries, De Roon and Promes all had a basic place. That match won the team of coach Ronald Koeman last Friday after a nice comeback with 2-4.
Dumfries and De Roon both played for about an hour against Germany and were replaced by Pröpper and Malen. The attacker made his international debut and livened it up with a goal. Veltman remained on the bench in Hamburg for the entire match.
In addition to Veltman, Pröpper and Malen, Koeman makes no further changes to his setup. That means that Malen forms the attack together with Memphis Depay and Ryan Babel. Memphis will play its 50th match against Estonia.
