Barcelona, Manchester City, Chelsea and Real Madrid are just some of the clubs in Europe that have started investing in women's teams. SVT Sports expert Frida Östberg sees several positive things with her focus on women's soccer.
- The positive is that there is a pull around the steam ball. And clubs that work with young players will be able to sell them on and make a lot of money. Money that they can then build something long-term and build the breadth, says Östberg.
However, Markus Johannesson, also he SVT expert, sees some dangers with the efforts of European clubs.
