Shaheen 39 was crowned by its owner Mohammed Rashid Al Rumaithi and led by Al Nokhadha Khalifa Abed Thani Al Marri, the 43-foot Dubai local sailing boat champion, organized by the Dubai International Marine Sports Club at the opening of the new marine sports season 2019-2020.

The inaugural race of the season was a success and the number of participants reached 79 with more than 1,200 sailors on board.The boats sailed after raising the green flag from the depths of the Arabian Gulf towards the finish line off the shores of Jumeirah and the Burj Al Arab Hotel for more than 10 nautical miles.

The young Nukhitha Khalifa Abed Al Marri succeeded in choosing the right path that took the boat Shaheen first to the finish line, surpassing most of the participating boats, including the two boats in the second place earthquake 217 of its owner HH Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan and led by Nukhitha Mohammed Abdullah Al Marzouqi, and third place Lightning 230 for its owner, Mohammed Jaber Al Hammadi and led by Noukhaza Jaber Mohammed Al Hammadi, who topped the scene in the early stages and were the closest to the coronation, but Shahin 39 said his speech at the end of the race and won the first race of the maritime sports season 2019-2020.

After the race, the 43-foot Dubai local sailing champions were crowned at the Arabian Gulf waters in the presence of Nakhuda and the owners of the boats (Shaheen 39 I), (earthquake 217 II) and (Lightning 230 III) where the Executive Director of Dubai International Sports Club Marine Abdullah Mohammed Hareb, Director of Racing Department Supervisor Hazim Mohammed Al-Qamzi, presented the trophies to the champions.
