Thanks to a hat trick from Harry Kane with convincing figures, England beat Bulgaria in the European Championship qualification on Saturday. The team of national team coach Gareth Southgate won 4-0 at Wembley, while Kosovo stunted the Czech Republic in the same group.
Because of the big win, England continues to lead in group A with nine points from three games. Bulgaria is only two points behind, and is therefore at the bottom.
Kane made his first goal in the middle of the first half and that was the only goal before half time. In the second half, the 26-year-old captain took advantage of a penalty kick in the 49th and 73rd minutes. In between, Raheem Sterling signed for the 3-0.
Southgate Mason Mount made his debut at a score of 3-0. The 20-year-old midfielder was loaned by Chelsea to Vitesse in the 2017/2018 season. Mount is now a fixture at the Premier League club from London.

Kosovo can hope for EC participation
Behind England, Kosovo is now the surprising number two group A with eight points from four games. Because of the victory on Saturday against the Czech Republic, the Kosovars can seriously hope to participate in the European Championship 2020.
The number 120 of the FIFA ranking did fall behind in Pristina against the global number 43 by a hit by Patrick Schick, but before half-time Vedat Muriqi equalized.
In the second half the home crowd cheered again when Mergim Vojvoda. That was it in the match that was called by Danny Makkelie.
The Kosovar team played its first international match in March 2014 and is still waiting for the first participation in a final tournament. Kosovo will play against the English on Tuesday and the Czech Republic will take on Montenegro at home.
