The national anthem of Rugby World Cup opening race is Ayaka Hirahara September 2 18:06

The Organizing Committee of the Rugby World Cup Japan announced that the singer Ayaka Hirahara will sing the national anthem at the opening round of this month, and that the Air Self-Defense Force's “Blue Impulse” will be on display.

The opening round of the Rugby World Cup Japan Tournament will take place at 7:45 pm on the 20th of this month at the Tokyo Stadium in Chofu, Tokyo, where Japan and Russia will face each other.

The organizing committee of the tournament announced on the 2nd that the singer Ayaka Hirahara will be in charge of the Japanese national anthem of each national anthem sung before the match.

Mr. Hirahara was chosen because he had a relationship with rugby, such as serving as the national anthem in a test match between Japan and Hong Kong, which was the last full-scale sporting game at the former National Stadium in 2014.

It was also decided that an exhibition flight by the Air Self Defense Force flight team "Blue Impulse" would be held.

“Blue Impulse” is scheduled to fly before the match between Fiji and Uruguay, which will be held at Kamaishi Residence Resident Reconstruction Stadium in Kamaishi City, Iwate Prefecture on 25th of this month.
