Larsson, who competes for the organizer club IF Göta, flew from the other field and was 0.34 ahead of Emmanuel Dawlson in second place. It's an eternity of sprinting.

- Given the circumstances, it was clearly approved. It was sad with two restarts and I felt really tagged to take the Swedish record of 10.18 and then possibly qualify for the World Cup (10.10), says Larsson who has 10.20 as personal record for SVT Sport.

Peter Karlsson has the Swedish record but got rid of the championship record of 10.29 from 1996. Then it was three years left until Larsson's birth.

Ekelund: "Nice to come back for real"

On the women's side, Irene Ekelund was almost as superior.

Irene Ekelund won 100 m by far. She reached the finish line after 11.51 and was 0.24 ahead of Daniella Busk

- It was a long time ago and it was nice to come back for real for once, says Ekelund.

What has happened in recent weeks?

- I switched coach a couple of months ago, coached with Oscar Gidewall and it clicked immediately and it released more and more. I think that's the big reason. In addition, I am part of an incredibly good training group and I have received training adapted to me, says Ekelund, who grew up in nearby Kil but who now competes for the Stockholm club Spårvägen.

Last weekend Ekelund took a double over 100 and 200 meters in Finnkampen.

- She continues to convince and it is wonderful that she gets such an end with SM and Finnkampen, says SVT Sports expert Kajsa Bergqvist.
