This weekend, the Swedish Ski Federation sent out a press release that Jonas Peterson will quit as national team manager - after less than five months at the post.

- It has started to land a bit now that it became this way, says Jonas Peterson to SVT Sport.

There has been a rumor of a schism between the whaling team and the skater in the national team and now Lorentz Söderhielm, the ski grinder in Sweden's Olympic committee, confirms that it is correct.

- Some coaches and skiers were not happy with how it worked with the embankment. Jonas Peterson should then have been tasked with kicking two runners and therefore put pressure on the election manager Urban Nilsson to do so, he tells SVT Sport.

What pitcher would he kick?

- Anders Niemi and Erik Yngvesson.

Peterson: "Keeps me neutral in this"

Söderhielm is careful to point out that he does not want to tell the riders or coaches.

- I don't want to say who they are. You get to call around and figure it out. They are cowards who dare not stand for the criticism performed.

Söderhielm says that Urban Nilsson, after kicking the two flocks, then resigned himself because the flock team is holding together.

- They are very intertwined, says Söderhielm.

Peterson, who was national team manager at this time, later got rid of the job himself. A major reason for that, according to Söderhielm, must be the strong cohesion that the whaling team in the national team has. This, in turn, has led to an unsustainable situation - with kicks and jumping flocks.

- There was a risk that there would be no service at all for the riders.

Peterson is restrained when SVT reaches him with the information.

The Vallata team seems to be very close-knit. Is it true?

- ... (pause) it may stand for you. I stay neutral in it.

Post-season evaluation

After each season, every rider gets an evaluation and the evaluation is then a basis for the management in order to lead the organization forward.

Was there any direct criticism directed at the whaling team in this year's evaluation?

"I can't go into it in detail," Peterson says.

Was there a risk that the whaling team was about to fall south after you started acting?

"I have no views on what you are saying," Peterson concludes.
