Barcelona have sent a delegation to Paris in a new bid to sign Brazilian star Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain, Spanish media reported yesterday.
The Spanish newspaper «Sport» that Barcelona will make his latest offer for the restoration of Neymar, for 170 million euros, with a loan option in the first season, with the possibility of adding player Osman Dembli to the deal, while St Germain requires 100 million euros and the players Dembele and Portuguese Semedo.
The private jet was flown by Barcelona's football director, Eric Abidal, and the CEO, Oscar Grau, as well as the club's director, Javier Bordas.
"The goal is to sign Neymar before September 2," the paper said.
In return, it is reported that PSG may ask for 100 million euros, Dembele and Portuguese back Nelson Semedo.
Representatives of the Catalan club had met PSG officials in mid-January to negotiate the return of Neymar, but the meeting did not lead to any agreement or significant progress.
Neymar, who is chased by Barcelona, Real Madrid and Juventus, will be sacked on loan with a mandatory option to buy him for 170 million euros, or sell him in a deal involving Dembele and Semido and 100 million euros.
