You've seen it happen this past season. There seems to be a penalty ghost over Malmö FF that really did not get the shot from eleven meters.

Against Häcken, it was Guillermo Molins who gained the confidence and missed in a match where MFF lost two important points in the top match.

In Sunday's series finale at home against Djurgården it would happen again.

For the second time this season, Markus Rosenberg stepped forward and chose to shoot the penalty in the middle. Djurgården goalkeeper Tommy Vaiho went to the left but managed to get the ball across the goal.

This was Malmö FF's sixth penalty miss this season. No single Swedish team has since 1999 missed six straight penalties. Previously, MFF shared the less flattering record with IFK Gothenburg (five missed penalties) but has now passed.
