As a coach in Eskilsminne, the former HIF profile Mattias Lindström lives a much calmer life than his former club mate Henrik Larsson who as quickly as he took up the coach job in Helsingborg also jumped off after receiving verbal calls.

For SVT Sport, Lindström talks about how he views the turbulent situation in HIF.

- It is regrettable that it is on these premises that "Henke" ends. That it goes beyond his privacy and that he feels bad about it. Then I don't know what has been said. Probably only Henrik himself knows. Anyway, it's sad for everyone involved, says Lindström, who played with Larsson in HIF before "Henke" put the shoes on the shelf in 2009.

Mattias Lindström was able to make over 200 matches during his 14 years at the club and has insight into Helsingborgs IF.

- What is most important now is that the player group, the management, sponsors and supporters and everyone who has a heart in HIF come together. It is never easy in these situations and many people go in different directions. Now it's important to tie your fist and get together. Now you have to put everything that has been, whether it is right or wrong, aside and check out the club's best.

Have contact with Granqvist

Lindström says he has some contact with players in the squad - including midfielder Andreas Granqvist.

- We talk a bit because Eskilsminne has collaboration with HIF. I do not know what the talk in the club is, but among the players, the most dissatisfaction is that they are not able to gather power and win matches.

You who have been active and are also an old HIF: are - how do you think as a player in such a situation?

- The players are probably asking. In this situation, questions come from the surroundings and then you have to leave it to others in the association and focus. Sometimes, not always, these kinds of things can help the group get closer. I'm not saying it does now, but sometimes you can take advantage of it.

Does HIF have the conditions to sort out this stormy season and clear the Swedish scene?

- There is quality in the team and rescue boards in the form of AFC, Falkenberg and Sundsvall which I think are weaker than HIF in the long run.

Who do you think could be a good replacement to get into this position?

- Someone may come this weekend already, but I think they are waiting for the national team break and that there will be some local ability that has no coach job at the moment. In the future, I would like to see a more long-term solution.

Have you ever been up to date?

- No, I'm new here in Eskilsminne and in the middle of the series. You do not leave the ship.
