43 national team players went on strike against the Swedish Ice Hockey Association last week. The players were unhappy at several points, one of them being that they receive no compensation for lost work income during the collections.

Today, the parties met for the first time in a meeting in Stockholm. The secretary general of the Swedish ice hockey association, Tommy Boustedt, told SVT that it was a positive meeting and that they, among other things, concluded that the players will receive compensation in the future.

Erika Grahm and Johanna Fällman were on the spot.

- We still feel that it was a step in the right direction. We really had to sit down and talk, so it feels good, says Erika Grahm in TV4's program After Five.

She continues:

- It is well tolerated to add that we would rather not have wanted to sit here. It will be solved very well, but the concrete things that can only be written down on a piece of paper are easy. It must also be proved by action, and that is not solved by just one meeting.
