Swedish national team star Kosovare Asllani has been operating in the thumb for a ligament injury and is not allowed to participate in collective football training for about a week. However, there should be no danger of the midfielder's participation in the European qualifiers away to Latvia on September 3, the Swedish Football Association writes in a press release.
She sustained the injury in a training match with Spanish club CD Tacón just over a week ago.
