Felix Rosenqvist was involved in a nasty accident last Sunday, on the Pocono track outside Long Pond, USA, when he couldn't make way for Takuma Sato's car spinning into the track. Rosenqvist was thrown into the fence at an estimated speed of 340 km / h. After a few minutes, the Swede was able to get out of the car for his own machine but was taken by ambulance to the hospital for further control. There he was told that nothing was broken.

After further checks during the week comes a happy message. Rosenqvist is ready for the start of next weekend. He has been cleared by the organization Indycar to start in the competition at Gateway Motor Stadium, Illinois on Sunday.

- I am happy to have been given the green light to start at Gateway this weekend. It was a big bang and I'm still a little sore, but on the whole I feel fully ready to let myself into the match again. I have been very well cared for in recent days and I have also been amazed by the support I have received from fans around the world. I really appreciate it. Hopefully I can bid again with a good show this weekend, he says in a press release.
