Djurgården invested hard for the season, recruiting national team duo Olivia Schough and Hanna Folkesson.

But despite the strong profile, the results have not been achieved. Prior to tonight's match against Örebro, the team had won only 3 of the 13 matches, and after Limhamn Bunkeflo won against Kungsbacka yesterday, the distance down to the relegation line was only two points.

Fair result

A victory at Stockholm Stadium was thus a must for the team not to be heavily involved in the bottom battle.

But they did not succeed. Örebro won by 3-1, and it was a completely fair result. Especially in the second half, where Örebro went from 1-1 to 3-1 in the course of six minutes on two fixed situations, the guests were clearly better. They led the game and it looked long moments very abandoned from Djurgården's side, who have now lost six straight matches - with 5-19 in goal difference.

Örebro in the top match

And when Heidi Kollanen finished off a quick and neat Örebro attack with 84 minutes to make it 4-1, the match was definitely decided.

For Örebro, the victory means that the team is now in the battle for the top placements. They advance thanks to the three points up to third place, three points after Gothenburg and five behind Rosengård.
