After the Swedish Olympic Committee withdrew its support for the Women's crown last year, SHL contributed SEK 400,000. What the money went to has not been found out by the Swedish hockey league - and in the wake of Damkronna's conflict with the Swedish ice hockey association, SHL now wants answers on how the money was used.

- We should not control the business or how it should go, but it is important for Swedish ice hockey that we know what the money goes to and that they do good things. We want to know what the plans for the future look like, ”Johanna Hemming-Hamberg, Public Relations Manager at SHL, tells TV4.

- This is important for Swedish hockey, guys and girls, that everyone can dream of a career in ice hockey, it is very important for us. We now have an initial dialogue with SDHL and their board, ”says Hemming-Hamberg.
