The Argentine player Federico Cartabia, delighted to join the youth of Al-Ahli, stressing that he preferred to join «Dubai Knights» many of the offers received in the last period, pointing out that he hopes to achieve tournaments with the team.

The youth Ahli announced the day before yesterday to complete the contracting procedures with Cartabia, from Deportivo La Coruna, Spain, without disclosing the duration or value of the contract, while referring to the site «Transfer Market» competent market transfer, that Cartabia will play loaned for one season, as explained by the means Spanish media that Al-Ahly youth will be able to sign him finally after the end of the season for 1.5 million euros.

The 26-year-old has Argentinian and Italian nationality, grew up in Valencia's youth club, and graduated from different age groups until he joined the first team of “bats” in 2013, then on loan to Cordoba in 2014, then Deportivo in 2015, Before he finally moved to the latter in 2017, he played loaned out to Portugal's Braga for six months in 2017.In contrast, he joined Argentina's U-20 team in 2013 and played three games.

Meanwhile, the Italian newspaper Toto Mercato reported that Al-Ahly youth, the Brazilian put Joao Pedro, in his interests in the current transfers, noting that he watched the player in the last period. She added that Al-Ahli inquired about the possibility of signing the Italian Cagliari player on loan, but did not make an official offer, pointing out that the Dubai Knights put Pedro as an alternative option for Brazilian Carlos Eduardo, who plays for Al Hilal.

Cartabia moved to Al Ahly from Deportivo La Coruna.
