Kasper Dolberg will most likely continue his career at OGC Nice. The French club has agreed with Ajax on a transfer fee of more than 20 million euros, reports De Telegraaf on Sunday evening.

The 21-year-old Dolberg has been associated for some time with a departure from Ajax and would prefer a definitive transfer to Nice over a lease to the also interested Hoffenheim.

According to De Telegraaf , Dolberg himself has broadly agreed on a long-term contract with Nice and the transition to the club from the Ligue 1 will be completed in the short term.

The out of shape Dolberg has been sidelined at Ajax. Coach Erik ten Hag, who already indicated on Sunday that the Dane is busy with a transfer, prefers Dusan Tadic and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar during rush hour.

Ajax brought Dolberg from Denmark to Amsterdam in the summer of 2015 and a year later the striker made his debut in the first team. He came to 119 games and 45 goals on behalf of the 34-time national champion.

In November 2016, Dolberg made his debut as a Danish international at the age of nineteen. The counter is now at thirteen international matches and three goals.
