Coleman won at 53.63, a full 1.53 seconds ahead of Holly Barratt, Australia, in second place. Camille Cheng from Hong Kong finished third.

The Swede started the World Cup swimming in Singapore by coming second at 50 meters freely on Thursday and reached the same position at 200 meters freely on Friday.

Coleman is one of the few in the world elite at 100 meters freely to swim the World Cup this fall. Most of the stars on the distance rest after the World Cup and instead bet on the new big competition International Swimming League which starts in October.
