Already in the league premiere, Liverpool's first goal keeper was forced to leave with injury and he is expected to miss several weeks of play. Ahead of the weekend's meeting with Southampton, the goal-keeper crisis has worsened.

Second-time goalkeeper Adrian first became a big hero when he saved the decisive penalty against Chelsea in Wednesday's Super Cup final, then was injured by a supporter during the celebration.

- When we were all together (and celebrating) a supporter jumped onto the pitch, was chased by security personnel and slipped and kicked to his (Adrians) ankle, says Klopp according to Sky Sports.

- Yesterday it was swollen but today it is much better. We have to wait and see, the German says if Adrian is available against Southampton tomorrow.

If Adrian does not come into play, either 35-year-old Andy Lonergan or 20-year-old Caoimhin Kelleher may stand between the posts. None of them have made any competition match for the club.
