PAOK Saloniki demands that UEFA take immediate action after the loaded match against Ajax on Tuesday evening. After the 3-2 defeat in Amsterdam, the Greeks are furious about the performance of referee Craig Pawson and Ziggo commentator Sierd de Vos.
PAOK, which had kept Ajax at home at 2-2, gave up three penalties in the Johan Cruijff Arena. Two of them were used by Dusan Tadic. According to the Greeks, the third Ajax goal was preceded by a push from goalscorer Nicolas Tagliafico.
"Some things just can't be tolerated at the highest level," PAOK writes in a statement on Instagram on Wednesday. "We do not want to dwell too long on the mistakes of the referee, who largely influenced the match. A penalty for him should be obvious and it should be imposed immediately."
The champion of Greece addresses the message directly to the European football association UEFA, which is now up to its turn. "There should be an overall assessment of yesterday's shameful evening for European football."

"De Vos's comment was racist"
Not only the arbitration, but also Ziggo commentator De Vos is the bitten dog. PAOK accuses the experienced reporter of racist statements during the match report.
"The unacceptable comments of this journalist from Ziggo, Ajax's main sponsor, directed against PAOK fans and Greek citizens are a dangerous phenomenon and have no place in football or anywhere else."
According to PAOK, De Vos, who during the game made jokes about Greek fans without a shirt who, because of the financial situation of the country, could not afford outerwear, must be called up by his employer.
Immediately after the elimination of PAOK in the third preliminary round of the Champions League, trainer Abel Ferreira also reacted furiously. According to him, the referee would have given Ajax a fourth penalty if it had been necessary. "
Ajax qualified for the Champions play-offs thanks to the difficult victory. In this the Cypriot APOEL Nicosia is the opponent.
