Sky News revealed that the "Aircraft Accident Investigation" identified the cause of the death of Argentine player Emiliano Sala after his plane crashed in January.

The report revealed that after obtaining a sample of the blood of the player found the presence of carbon monoxide in his body by up to 58%, as was also the case with the pilot who fell with him.

"It is not clear why Sala and the pilot died, either because of the gas or after the crash, but exposure to carbon monoxide can reduce or hinder the pilot's ability to drive, due to the amount of gas he was exposed to," the report said.
