UEFA announced on Thursday the list of candidates for the 2018-2019 Champions of the Year awards.

UEFA tweeted several tweets through his official account, and also posted an official statement on his website that included the list of the most prominent stars in the guard and the three lines of the stadium.

Although Liverpool dominated the list of candidates, five of them were selected, and were the only team represented by the goalkeeper, line of defense, center and attack, the most prominent star Mohamed Salah was not included in the nominations and was chosen teammate Sadio Mani instead.

Lionel Messi (Barcelona), Cristiano Ronaldo (Juventus) and Senegal's Sadio Mane (Liverpool) are among the favorites.
