Al-Jazira international newcomer Omar Abdulrahman expressed his happiness to join Al-Jazeera in a free transfer for three years after the end of his career with Al Hilal.

Amouri said in a message to his followers through his Twitter account: "I would like to thank the chairman and members of the board of directors of the Saudi club Al-Hilal for all what they gave me during my time in the ranks of the old team with history."

He added: "I would like to thank former Saudi football star and chairman of Al Hilal, Sami Al Jaber, for his support and encouragement to me during my joining the team."

He added: "All thanks and appreciation to the ancient Crescent crew who make stars and motivate players to creativity and all the success of the crescent will never forget you and you are in the heart."

He continued: "All thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of Al-Jazira Club for his keenness and support for the completion of the transition deal for Al-Jazira Club, wishing to be at the best thought of His Highness."
