Five members of Speed Skating, Kim Tae-yun, Kim Cheol-min, Kim Joon-ho, Kim Jin-soo, and Roh Jun-soo, drunk together during the camp of Taereung Athletes Village last month.

While the Short Track National Team was discharged from the Jincheon Athletes Village due to sexual harassment controversy, Speed Skating athletes sneaked inside the Athletes Village.

The findings were late, and they were punished by the Ice Federation for two months of suspension yesterday.

Nearly half of the twelve male athletes have been disciplined, which has hampered overseas training next month.

Kim Tae-yun won the men's 1,000m bronze medal in the Pyeongchang Olympics last year, and Kim Cheol-min won the 2014 Sochi Olympic Team overtaking silver medals. Kim is also a 500m silver medalist for the World Cup last season.

They will be disciplined in early October and will be able to compete in the national team starting on the 23rd of the same month.

On the other hand, Hyo Joon, a short track player who sexually harassed his juniors during the national team's training, suffered a one-year suspension.

Lim Hyo-jun, a gold medalist and general champion of the PyeongChang Olympics, was also frustrated in the national team's selection next year and was unable to wear the Taeguk mark for at least two seasons.
