Therese Johaug crushed everyone at 10,000 meters during the Norwegian Championships. She ran in at 32.20.87, which is the 15th best time in Europe in the distance this year (69th in the world).
Afterwards, the Norwegian ski queen was asked questions about athletics European Championships, and she admitted that it was an enticing thought.
- It would have been fun to test. But then you have to prepare a little more than I did now. But it was fun to pass the European qualifying limit. I may not have thought of it directly until now, but you should never say never, she says.
The Norwegian Ski Federation is pleased to see Johaug in the European Championships.
- It's great fun if she wants to compete in athletics. She is a fitness phenomenon. She has qualities, says Erlend Slokvik, sports manager at the union.
Athletics European Championship 2020 will be held in Paris.
