Paul Gladon will play for Willem II in the next two years. The 27-year-old striker has been without a club since his departure from FC Groningen and therefore appears to be transfer-free. ADO Den Haag reinforces itself with Bilal Ould-Chikh, who also signs for two years after a trial period.

The attacker passed the medical examination on Wednesday and put his signature on Thursday under the two-year commitment, after which he immediately joins the selection, reports Willem II.

Willem II is already the fourth club for Gladon in four seasons. He left in the 2016/2017 season from Heracles Almelo to Wolverhampton Wanderers, for which he played little. He was subsequently lent to Sint-Truiden and played for FC Groningen in the past six months.

Gladon, who also played for Sparta Rotterdam and FC Dordrecht, was accurate for the Groningen team five times last season.

The striker is happy that he was able to sign for a long time at the club of trainer Adrie Koster. "I have been at different clubs in recent years, but now I need more stability. I found it here at Willem II with a two-year contract."

Willem II started the new Eredivisie season well. The first competition match was immediately won 3-1 against PEC Zwolle. On Saturday, the team plays against Vitesse at 8:45 PM.

ADO records test player Ould-Chikh

The 22-year-old Ould-Chikh had been on trial at ADO since last week, after an internship at Vitesse had failed. He managed to convince the club management of the residents of Hagen and signed for two years.

The attacker made his debut in the Eredivisie at FC Twente at the age of sixteen. He then quickly left for Benfica, but the Portuguese top club did not make a breakthrough.

A return to the Eredivisie at FC Utrecht was not a success either, after which Ould-Chikh played for the Turkish Denizlispor last season.

Football affairs manager Jeffrey van As of ADO hopes that Ould-Chikh's talent will come true in The Hague. "We are convinced that he can fully flourish here and be of value to our team. He possesses qualities that we absolutely sought: creativity, a good cross and a surprising action."

ADO will play at PSV on Sunday at 8 PM. The first league match of the season against FC Utrecht was lost by 2-4.
