Laurent Koscielny leaves Arsenal after nine years. The 33-year-old French defender continues his career at Girondins Bordeaux.
Koscielny alluded to a transfer for some time. To the disappointment of Arsenal last month, he refused to travel with the selection to the United States for a training camp.
"We are very disappointed with Laurent's behavior. It violates our instructions. We hope to resolve this quickly and do not comment further," Arsenal said at the time in a statement.
Koscielny has been playing for Arsenal since the summer of 2010, which took him over from Lorient for around 12 million euros. The contract of the central defender, who was the regular captain for the last three seasons, expired after the coming season.
Over the past nine years, Koscielny has won 353 official games and 27 goals for Arsenal. He won four prizes with 'The Gunners'; the FA Cup and the Cummunity Shield in 2014 and 2015.
