The "Desert Warriors" stars responded to a video posted by some Algerian children who are cancer patients on social networking sites asking them to be happy to crown the African Cup of Nations.
The stars of the Algerian national team, Riad Mehrez, Baghdad Bounghah, Youssef Blaili, Youssef Atal and Yassine Brahimi, also took part in a video clip at the residence of the team in Cairo, where they paid tribute to the children of Al-Hassi Hospital in Oran, and called on them to heal.
The Algerian team face Senegal on Friday evening in the final of the tournament in Egypt.
The Greens only qualified for the African Cup of Nations once in their 1990 edition, while Senegal's Lions never crowned the title.
