The Algerian Ministry of Defense announced on Saturday the allocation of six aircraft to transport fans to Egypt, to attend the match "Greens" in the semi-finals of the African Nations Cup against Nigeria on Sunday evening, bringing the number of aircraft for the transfer of fans between civilian and military to 16 in an air bridge with Cairo to support Desert Warriors.

"Following the qualification of the national football team to the semi-finals of the African Nations Cup, the high command of the National People's Army, in coordination with Prime Minister Noureddine Badawi, decided to allocate six military transport planes to 600 Algerian supporters," the ministry said in a statement.

The statement added that the move was "to support and encourage the national team cubs, and to motivate them to win this important continental title."

He continued that "the National People's Army and down at the desire of a large segment of the young people to attend this historic interview, but be on time always along with fellow citizens."

The Algerian prime minister decided on Friday to build a new air bridge of ten aircraft, to move more fans to Egypt to attend the match Nigeria.

State television said the aircraft would be launched on Saturday from airports in Algiers, Oran (west), Constantine (east) and Ouargla (south).

The source did not disclose the number of fans to be transferred, but the government airline usually allocates 250 passengers on these occasions, meaning that the bridge will transport about 2500 fans, as well as 600 fans will arrive via military aircraft.
