Vitesse has attracted Richedly Bazoer and Oussama Tannane on Friday afternoon. Six-time Orange-international Bazoer comes over from VfL Wolfsburg and signs for three years. Tannane makes the switch from Saint-Étienne.
Vitesse and Wolfsburg do not report how high the transfer fee for Bazoer is. He still had a contract with the Bundesliga Club until mid-2021.
"Vitesse is a team that suits me. The ambitions appeal to me and I want to contribute to that," says Bazoer on the site of his new club.
Last season, the 22-year-old midfielder played on a rental basis at FC Utrecht. Bazoer went through PSV's youth academy, made his debut in professional football at Ajax and left for Wolfsburg in mid-2017, which also lent him to FC Porto.
Bazoer was unable to secure a fixed base for his foreign clubs. That is his goal in Arnhem. "I want to become important to the team as quickly as possible and get everything out of myself. I am still young and in the prime of my career."

Vitesse sees Bazoer as an opportunity
Earlier this summer, Vitesse won Armando Obispo, Jay-Roy Grot, Tomas Hajek and Charly Musonda. Maikel van der Werff, Alexander Büttner, Arnold Kruiswijk, Eduardo, Mohammed Dauda, Jake Clarke-Salter and Martin Ødegaard will not return to the GelreDome this season.
Vitesse's technical director Mo Allach sees the arrival of Bazoer as an opportunity. "He has many qualities, which he has shown in the past. You don't become Talent of the Year at a club like Ajax. He is a strong and dynamic midfielder. We hope that the potential of Riechedly at Vitesse is back is reflected. "
Bazoer made his debut for the Orange in 2015, but has been out of the picture for the national team for three years. He can make his debut for Vitesse on 3 August, when the team from Arnhem start the Eredivisie with a home match against his old club Ajax.

Tannane also signs for three years
Tannane has also signed a contract in Arnhem until mid-2022. The 25-year-old attacker comes over from Saint-Étienne and played just like Bazoer on a rental basis for FC Utrecht last season.
The nine-time international of Morocco made his professional debut at SC Heerenveen in 2012/2013, after which he broke through at Heracles Almelo. Saint-Étienne then brought him to France, but he was unable to secure a base place there. He was then also lent to Las Palmas.
"I hope to be able to settle quickly at Vitesse, because I have found that fun is very important," the attacker says on the club website. "Only if you feel good about yourself can you get the best out of yourself. I would like to show the real Tannane again."
Tannane was expelled from Utrecht during the past season, after a shortage of training. Vitesse nevertheless dares to do it. "We have had good conversations with Oussama and clearly expressed to each other how we see the future plan together," says Allach. "He is a type of player who can make the team better and decide on matches."
