The Algerian team qualified for the semi-finals of the African Cup of Nations after a difficult win over Ivory Coast penalty shootout after the end of the game with the original and extra with a draw 1-1.

The substitute Wilfried Bonnie wasted the third shot of the Ivory Coast when he shot in the hands of Algeria goalkeeper Riaz Mbulhi, while the captain Geoffrey Seri de missed the last kick and fired it in the right-hand post.

Algeria advanced in the 20th minute through Sufian Figouli, while Ivory Coast waited until the 62nd minute to score a draw through Jonathan Kouga, the first goal of the Greens in five games.

Algeria will meet Nigeria in the semi-finals on Sunday, while Senegal will wait for the winner of the last quarter-final between Tunisia and Madagascar, which will be held later today.
