At the end of the eighth day of the competition, the Russians won 12 medals, including six gold, three silver and three bronze.
Now the national team has 93 awards: 39 gold, 19 silver and 35 bronze.
The second place in the overall standings is Belarus (22 gold, 14 silver and 25 bronze medals). Troika closes the Italian team (11 gold, 13 silver and 11 bronze medals).
Earlier, Denis Dmitriev took third place on the cycle track in the sprint at the EI-2019.
