Another 50 minutes - Räikkönen in their own unique style are dissatisfied with Stroll. "Yeah, I have this Force India or whatever the f * ck it's called", the Finn said via the on-board radio.

51 more minutes - After a run of 16 rounds, Verstappen comes in. The Dutchman is still in second place.

Another 59 minutes - Verstappen clocked in the second time. With 1.13.507 the Dutchman is still half a tenth slower than Hamilton.
Formula 1 · 17 minutes ago
Another 65 minutes - The black flag of Grosjean and Magnussen was not used to disqualify both drivers, but to get the Haas duo to the pits. The Haas radio did not work, which prevented the team from contacting the drivers. HAAS then asked the FIA to wave the black flag, so that Grosjean and Magnussen knew they had to come in.

Only 69 more - Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen have been disqualified for unclear reasons! Both Haas drivers will see the black flag. This rarely occurs in free training.
Formula 1 · 27 minutes ago
Another 74 minutes - Max Verstappen is also starting his installation round. Lewis Hamilton (1.13.636) and Valtteri Bottas (1.13.766) are the fastest yet.
Formula 1 · 36 minutes ago
82 minutes to go - Except for Max Verstappen, Pierre Gasly and Nico Hülkenberg, all drivers have already completed one installation lap.

(2/2) Even in the years that the Monaco Grand Prix did not take place during the Ascension weekend, the Thursday / Friday rule was maintained. Monaco is extremely difficult to reach during the GP. By keeping the training on Thursday, the residents get the chance to leave the city on Friday. This also gives restaurant owners and retailers the opportunity to maintain the supply of their (fresh) products.
Formula 1 · 39 minutes ago
(1/2) The free practice sessions are only in Monaco on Thursday and not on Friday. The reason for this has to do with Ascension. Until the 90s, the race was held after the weekend of Ascension. Because everyone was already free on that day, it was decided that the training sessions were held not on Friday, but on Thursday.

Many Formula 1 teams drive this weekend with a tribute to Niki Lauda on their car. Similarly Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen on behalf of Haas.
