Six years later, history repeats itself with Welshman Gareth Bell, who is about to leave the Santiago Bernabeu.

In 2013, Bell joined the Royal after a "dirty" war with Tottenham, who initially refused to let him go, but the Real fought until the last shot to sign the Premiership player of the 2012-2013 season.

His signing with Real was a complicated story, and was considered one of the most difficult deals that plagued the head of the club, Florentino Perez, and Peres had to sign with Bill Laird on the signing of Barcelona and then with Brazilian Neymar.

After a deal between the club and Bill on the details of the deal, Perez entered into difficult and unclear negotiations with the chairman of the club, Daniel Lavie, who is known for his intransigence in the negotiations.

But Bill was embarrassed by his promise that "if we do not qualify for the Champions League, we will leave the team," and threatened to rebel if he was not allowed to leave Real Madrid.

Rial spent July 2013 trying to persuade Tottenham to give up Bell, but Laffy refused and insisted. Bell faced the rebellion and then claimed the injury and missed the team for four games in August of the same year, including two matches in the European League and two Premier League.

Despite the mutiny, Lavi reacted by insisting not to sell him and threatened to keep him on the bench for a year.

At the end of August, Laffi asked LOS ANGELES for 145 million euros, but the deal was made on September 1, 2013 for 92 million euros.
