"If we play as against Heerenveen, Feyenoord or Heracles, we will be punished hard," said Tadic, who Saturday with a weak Ajax in Almelo (1-0).

"But we have shown this season against Bayern Munich and Benfica that we can attack and defend as a team, and if we get the level of those duels again, we always have a chance and we can also make it difficult for Real."

'Real is favorite for every match'

"It's hard to believe that Real is a favorite for every game, against whom they also play, but they only have a 50 percent chance of visiting Barcelona in great form."

Ajax reached the eighth finals of the Champions League in a strong first half of the season by finishing second in a group with Bayern, Benfica and AEK Athens. The Amsterdammers are back in the knock-out phase after thirteen years.
