“On the 80th year, the famous hockey player, Olympic champion, three-time world champion Anatoly Semyonovich Ionov passed away,” says a message on the official website of the Russian Hockey Federation.

The reason for the death of Ionov is not called. The ex-hockey player CSKA, speaking for the USSR national team, became the champion of the Olympiad-1968, and also won the world championships-1965, 1966, 1968.
