The hearings on the case of the Kokorin brothers, Pavel Mamaev and Alexander Protasovitsky resumed on Monday, April 22. Despite the fact that the meeting scheduled for 13:00 started late, the defendants themselves were brought to the Presnensky court building in the early morning. Thus, the players spent their waiting hours first in auto-order, and then in a special room.

In the meantime, friends, relatives and lawyers of the defendants were sharing good news with each other - the defenders of Alexander Kokorin finally managed to get permission to visit the Zenit striker by one of the club doctors. With a physician forward may meet on April 24. On this day, all the accused will also receive permission to meet with relatives and friends.

“Mamaev asked why I was so indignant”

The meeting itself began with the speech of the lawyer Kokorin senior Andrei Romashov. Later, Mamaev took me out of the car, ”the prosecutor read the testimony of the witness.

Pozdnikavene also admitted that she had to tell Pavel Mamayev about what had happened. According to the girl, the football player gave her an ultimatum, and in the case of silence he promised to stop communicating.

“Mamaev asked why I was so indignant. He promised me that we would quarrel if I didn’t tell him. I had to tell. After the conflict, I stayed in Kokorin's car, sat on the phone on the Internet. I didn’t get out of the car, but I saw how the fight started, ”the girl’s testimony says.

Her words expectedly diverged from the testimony of Vitaly Solovchuk - and those that he gave during the preliminary investigation, and those that the driver represented directly in the courtroom. Focusing on the discrepancies of the versions, the prosecutor Svetlana Tarasova, despite the active protests of the defense, began to announce the results of the confrontation.

“The testimony of Pozdnikave is partially confirmed. The girl was sitting in the back seat, but I did not turn to her. She said she was cold. To this I answered her politely. I do not understand why someone said that I called the young people roosters. In reality, this was not the case, ”Tarasova read out Solovchuk’s testimony.

The defense side of the players noted that no contradictions were fixed - each of the participants of the confrontation defended his version.

Having read the testimony of the witness, the prosecutor Tarasova made a motion to repeat the procedure with the interrogations of two more eyewitnesses. The state prosecutor said that two girls from the company of defendable football players do not get in touch and do not come to court for questioning. The lawyers persuaded the judge to wait - according to the lawyers, both the witnesses would come out in favor of Kokorin and Mamaev, in connection with this the question of their appearance at Presnya the defense is ready to take over.

The first to testify was a visitor from Coffeemania, Victoria. According to the woman who had breakfast at the bar, she didn’t see the fight between the players and Denis Pak herself, but even so, she felt threatened by her life and therefore called the police herself.

“I was scared in my life, and I called the police. Twice I asked to press the alarm button from the cafe staff, but since the reaction was not addressed to the law enforcement officers personally. Many visitors had the same condition. People did not understand what was happening. The police arrived promptly, but at that time the conflict was already over, ”an eyewitness to the events told the prosecutor.

Another witness questioned on Monday was law enforcement officer Maxim Sizov. The man said that he had participated in the search and seizure of a mobile phone from Alexander Kokorin, and later, on behalf of the authorities, he framed the video footage of the case.

At the end of the work, Judge Abramova asked lawyers to prepare written evidence for the next meeting, which will be held on Tuesday, April 23. The prosecution finishes arguing, and the next step is now in defense.

Thus, this week the defendants themselves will receive the floor. Earlier, Kokorin, Mamaev and Protasovitsky stated that they would testify only after all the witnesses and defendants. Defenders have already appealed to the court with a request for personal meetings with clients - the players must be advised before interrogating the prosecutor.
