Due to warm air flowing into the sky, temperatures are expected to rise nationwide from the 12th to the 15th Sunday, reaching levels similar to those seen in late March and early April.

The Japan Meteorological Agency calls for caution against avalanches, swollen rivers, and landslides, as the snow may melt in areas with heavy snowfall.

High temperatures nationwide from the 12th

According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, due to the winter-type pressure distribution until the 10th, the snow became intermittent mainly on the Sea of Japan side of northern Japan, and Hokkaido had a record heavy snowfall on the 10th.

On the 11th, a high-pressure system will prevail over western and eastern Japan, as well as clear skies on the Pacific side of northern Japan.

From the 12th to the 15th, warm air will flow in from the south, and the air at an altitude of 1500 meters is expected to be about 10 degrees higher than normal.

For this reason, the maximum temperature is around 15 to 20 degrees Celsius mainly in western Japan and eastern Japan, and it reaches around 10 degrees Celsius in northern Japan. However, many are expected.

Areas with a lot of snow are likely to melt

Also, from the 14th to the 15th, a low pressure system will pass through, so it will be cloudy and rainy from western Japan to northern Japan, and snow is expected to fall along the mountains of northern Japan.

The Japan Meteorological Agency is calling for caution against avalanches, swollen rivers, and landslides, as snow melting may progress in areas where there has been a lot of snowfall.

In addition, it is necessary to pay sufficient attention to snow falling from the roof and accidents during snow removal work.
