Police used tear gas to disperse Kurdish protesters on Friday near a Kurdish cultural center in central Paris in front of which a man killed three people at midday.

These incidents began when the crowd came up against a cordon of security forces protecting the Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin, who came to the site to provide an update on the investigation and to speak to journalists.

Our special correspondent Marie Schuster is on hand to report on the tensions currently underway between demonstrators and the police.
