On Prefectural Road 22 in Misonai, Hinai-cho, Odate City, a five-meter long bridge collapsed from a height of two meters due to heavy rain.
About half of the bridge had collapsed into the waterway below and was slightly crooked.
As a result, the area is closed to traffic.
The prefecture is preparing for restoration.
