Shiga Prefecture and the Hikone Local Meteorological Observatory announced at 9:05 am that a flood occurred near Kawai, Nagahama City, on the Takatoki River in the Yodo River system, which flows through Shiga Prefecture.
The prefecture and the Meteorological Observatory are calling for ensuring safety by issuing "Flood Occurrence Information", which is the highest level 5 of the 5 warning levels.
