Due to the heavy rain in August last year, the Kamikochi Line of Alpico Transportation in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture, which had been suspended for some sections, resumed operation on the 10th.

The Kamikochi Line, which runs through Matsumoto City, was suspended between Matsumoto Station and Nagisa Station due to damage such as the sinking of bridge pedestals due to the flooding of the river caused by the record heavy rain last August.

Under these circumstances, work such as rebuilding new piers was completed, so operation resumed on all lines on the 10th, and we saw people using the first train for commuting to work or school.

A man in his twenties who used to go to school said, "It takes time to drive on a bus, so it helps to resume driving. I want to use it outside of school."

In addition, a ceremony was held on the 10th to commemorate the resumption of operation, and President Fumi Kobayashi of the operating company said, "We were able to resume operation with the cooperation of many people. We will do our best to support the lives of the community. I want to continue, "said a thank-you note.

The operating company is also working to reinforce the piers of the bridge, and the bridge is scheduled to be fully restored in March next year.
