Due to the effects of rapidly developing low pressure systems and fronts, rain and wind are intensifying mainly in western Japan, and it is expected that snow and rain will also intensify on the Pacific side of Tohoku, which was damaged by the earthquake.

The Japan Meteorological Agency is calling for caution against blizzards and avalanches and landslides in areas with strong tremors.

According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, a low pressure system with a front is located near Kyushu, and a developed rain cloud is shining on the Pacific side of western Japan.

In northern Kyushu, which is close to a low pressure system, it is raining about 20 mm per hour, and in the Tokai, southern Kanto, and Izu Islands, it is expected that it will rain more than 30 mm per hour tomorrow.

Beware of heavy gusts such as river floods, landslides, strong winds, lightning strikes, and tornadoes caused by rain.

In addition, it is snowing and raining on the Pacific side of Tohoku, which was damaged by the earthquake.

As the low pressure system develops rapidly and reaches off Sanriku, the wind becomes stronger and it is expected to become a storm from the early morning of the 19th.

The maximum wind speed expected on the 19th is

20 meters at sea on the Pacific side of Tohoku

, 13 meters at land, and the maximum instantaneous wind speed is

30 meters at sea and 25 meters at land.

In addition to heavy rain, especially in the coastal areas, there is a risk of heavy snowfall over a wide area such as inland.

The amount of snow that falls in the 24 hours until the morning of the 19th

is expected to be

30 cm along the mountains and 20 cm on the flat ground on the Pacific side of the northeast, and

then the snow that falls in the 24 hours until the morning of the 20th. The amount of ▽

is expected to be

30 to 50 cm along the mountain and ▽ 20 to 40 cm on the flat ground.

The Japan Meteorological Agency warns against blizzards, pays close attention to avalanches and falling snow from the roof, and calls for careful attention to sediment-related disasters because the ground is loose due to the earthquake.

I'm sure some people are working on putting a blue sheet on the roof, but in the past, some people were injured during this work.

The wind will gradually increase.

Please do not overdo the work that seems to be difficult on your own.
