According to the USGS = US Geological Survey, there was an earthquake with an epicenter off the coast of the Kermadec Islands, about 1000 kilometers north of the North Island of New Zealand, at around 11:52 am on the 31st of Japan time.



The depth of the epicenter is estimated to be 10 km, and the magnitude indicating the magnitude of the earthquake is estimated to be 6.3.



NOAA = The US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration says that there is no danger of a tsunami caused by this earthquake.
